Conditioning for girls’ lacrosse has started, and returning players are not only satisfied with the drills but also the attendance.
“There’s about six people each day which is a pretty good turnout considering all of the sports going on and the play ending just last week,” sophomore Amanda Moscrip said.
Conditioning is after school Tuesdays and Thursdays until 5 p.m. and Friday mornings at 7.
“I think its good that we started conditioning, because I really needed to get back in shape after summer break,” sophomore Grace Otten said. “The girls, both new and old, are all pretty positive about it , so it makes the work a lot easier and a lot more fun”.
Some of the drills are designed to help with game-like situations to better prepare the girls.
“We have been working a lot on quick footwork skills, like the ladder, some real game situations such as sharp cuts and some endurance and running drills,” Moscrip said.
