Girls host regional quarterfinal Wednesday

The girls’ soccer team has the home field advantage for the regional quarterfinals against Trinity Prep tomorrow night at 7.

“It’s nice not having to drive to Orlando for this game,” senior Lauren Dietl said. “Since we’re the home team, we’re hoping to have a lot of fans come out to the game and support us.”

Even though the Lady Wildcats have never gotten past this stage of the playoffs, senior Amanda Farthing remains optimistic about the game.

“We beat them earlier in the season,” Farthing said. “If we all come out ready to play, then I believe we’ll get the result we need.”

Should the Lady Wildcats win, they will advance to the regional semifinals on Friday to play  either Edgewood or Bishop Moore.
