The annual Congres French competition is two weeks away and participants are making their last preparations.
“We’re not necessarily scrambling to be ready, but we’re just a bit slower this year,” sophomore Brianna Silvestre said.
The participants leave March 7 for the Orlando competition, which consists of various events including reading comprehension, speaking and poetry recitation.
As a part of another event, sophomore Sarah Tanke is creating a scrapbook that captures the projects and lessons of French class.
“She’s been compiling pages for the scrapbook and I know it will look really great when its finished,” Silvestre said.
