Seventh-graders Margareta R. and Hannah S. both placed second, and Ana R. and Haley P. placed third in the 2010-11 Daughters of the American Revolution short-storywriting contest. The theme for the competition was “America: Preserving the Past.”

Social studies teacher Anthony Raheb coordinated the competition, which supplements the school’s efforts in FCAT preparations.
