Both the boys’ and girls’ swimming teams rank fourth in the county and the volleyball team ranks fifth in Florida Today’s weekly ratings of high-school sports teams.
“I’m so proud of the team. We’ve really improved and have been getting along,” captain Rosalie Heninger said. “Also, the boys’ team broke a school record recently. I think we have a great chance at doing well at districts.”
Captain Trevor Stamand said he agrees that the swim team has a great set-up this year.
“The teams are ranked in the top 5 out of 50,” Athletics Director Kim Shepherd said. “The volleyball team has been doing really well this season, especially at the tournament in St. Cloud this past weekend.”
