Faulty projectors become distractions

Teachers using projectors throughout the school campus are experiencing technical difficulties. Black dots have begun to appear on the screens and bulbs are showing blinking signs saying, “Time to Replace.”

The projectors were bought wholesale three years ago and have begun to  show signs or deterioration.

“It’s a distraction and it’s really annoying sometimes, and I hope it gets resolved,” sophomore Tania Martin said.

Martin acknowledges deriving some pleasure from watching teacher reactions to the failing equipment.

“I think it’s really funny because [chemistry teacher Delilah] Narvaez calls them weasels and it makes me smile,” she said.

Naravez and history teacher Jim Pustay recently received new projectors, as they are now being replaced around the school.
