Led by senior Victoria D’Esposito, the girls’ bowling team defeated Satellite High 5-2 Thursday at Harbour Lanes to even its record at 2-2.

“It was nice to finally bowl a good game because I know I am capable of doing that good more often,” D’Esposito said of her 148-point game. “It was such a close game all the way to the end, so it was nice to know that my score put us ahead.”

The game came down to the last few minutes to determine which team would come out on top.

“It was really intense to watch,” manager Alannah Stewart said. “The entire game came down to the last throw, and we only won by five pins.”

While the girls’ captured their second straight victory, the boys also bowled a close game, but fell to Satellite losing 4-3.

The next game will take place Thursday at 4 p.m. at Harbour Lanes.
