The AP French exam has changed this year with the focus shifting to French culture, French teacher Jennifer Walker said.
“Students will have to listen and interpret audio clips on culture,” Walker said. “They’ll have to compare and contrast their culture with French culture as well.”
Walker said there is an advantage to the change, though.
“I believe it will be a better test of the students’ success,” Walker said.
Sophomore Emma Kalvan plans to take AP French for her junior year, and is not worried about the changes.
“I feel like it will be an advantage being taught by Ms. Walker for it because she already teaches us a lot about French culture,” Kalvan said.
