Taylor Swift will release her new album “The Tortured Poets Department” on Friday at 12:00 a.m.

“I am excited to listen to Swift’s new album because I’ve been into her music for a while now, and I’m excited to hear new music from her, as she is one of my favorite artists,” Castillo said. 

Swift’s new album includes multiple features, including one with Post Malone. 

“I am also excited to hear the song ‘Fortnight’ with Post Malone; I don’t think she’s ever collaborated with anyone with his style of music, and I’m eager to see how the song will be,” Castillo said. 

It has been almost two years since Swift has released a new album, as her last album “Midnights” came out in October 2022.

“This new album gets me excited, as the name “The Tortured Poets Department” intrigues me,” freshman Carina Wallace said. “I’ve never heard her album names sounding similar to that.”

Taylor Swift plans to come to Florida in October for the second round of the Eras Tour and perform at the Hard Rock Stadium.

“Even though I already got to see her last year, I would like to go again to hear her new album live, which I’m sure she’ll play in Miami,” Castillo said.
