NBA 2K returns to the top of the gaming world

With the NBA 2K19 prelude having been released Aug. 31, fans believed the official NBA video game’s release to be nothing short of fantastic. After a rather disappointing NBA 2K18 game, 2K19 seems to have stepped its game up with its development. The new game will feature a crew mode which will allow you and two of your friends to team up in a three on three tournament versus YouTubers and other celebrities.

The prelude begins with an undrafted player playing in China for the Shanghai Bears. He soon finds himself in a struggle to get quality minutes for his team, let alone make the NBA. He also sees his former college roommate Corey Harris successfully begin an NBA career. As the prelude ends, your player is seen boarding a limousine in Los Angeles. Many fans are speculating that this means your player will begin his career with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The soundtrack includes songs from well-known artists such as Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Trippie Redd, Sheck Wes and Migos.

The game also features the appearances of many popular NBA 2K YouTubers, including Jesser the Lazer, Kristopher London, Chris Smoove, and Cash Nasty Gaming. Rapper and music producer Travis Scott co-produced the game with 14-time NBA all-star LeBron James.

With the star-studded production team and genius in-game developers, NBA 2K has made its return to the top of the video game world.
