To give younger and less experienced players a chance to practice their skills for a future in club volleyball, Spirit Volleyball Club has started a program for any players ages 10 to 15 who are interested.

“It’s a clinic for all beginners and kids who haven’t played before. We’re trying to introduce them to the club experience so they’re ready when they want to start playing competitively,” clinic coach Niki Anagnostis said.

The program which has run from February through March and will resume on April 4 at Harbor City Gymnastics from 5pm to 6:30 pm.

“I played for school this year and just want to get in some more practice before next season,” player Sabrina Fabbri said. “We go through a lot of drills and work on individual skills, so it’ll help keep me from getting too rusty for next year.”
