Boys’ lacrosse team gains second win

Junior Nick Moore lead the team with 3 goals and juniors Noah Murphy and Mark Kay each added one more as the boys’ lacrosse team defeated the Eau Galle Commodores 7-1 Wednesday night at Eau Gallie High School. Chris Beer scored the lone goal for the 1-3 Commodores.

“[The team] played great,” sophomore Kyle Fitzgerald said. “[The team] communicated within the game which gave us the upper hand. We first got in there and dominated, then we slowed the game down and showed them how we wanted the game to be played.”

The boys must prepare for a quality opponent in Merritt Island whose record is 3-1 so far in the season.

“They always come to play,” Coach Dan O’Halloran said. “We have to want this game more than they do in order to beat them. We have to work as a team in order to take them down like we did against Eau Gallie.”

The home game starts at 7 p.m.
