Boys’ lacrosse falls to Cocoa Beach 20-7
April 12, 2022
Playing Cocoa beach for the first time this season, junior Hayden Millband said the boys’ lacrosse team did not live up to expectations, after the Wildcats lost an away game to Cocoa Beach 20-7 Tuesday.
“We didn’t play our best lacrosse, and we got ourselves in a hole early and were not able to climb out of it,” Millband said.
But junior Zack Johnson said the team will be ready the next time it faces Cocoa Beach.
“While we certainly made mistakes in the game. We also had a lot of positives such as faceoffs and our goalie,” Johnson said. “I think we can beat Cocoa Beach if we clean up our game and play how we play in practice.”
