Boys’ lacrosse beats Edgewood

The boys’ lacrosse team defeated Edgewood Jr./Sr. High School 15-2 Thursday night.

“Since Edgewood is our rivals it feels really good to beat them,” sophomore Kyle Fitzgerald said. “We played a great game with all of our shifts and passing. I also thought our defense was strong and in form because they only let two goals in.”

With only four games left until districts, the team is looking ahead.

“With a record of 4-4 we need to prepare for districts, mentally and physically,”Fitzgerald said. “We need to get fit and be prepared for big the big competition games like MCC in our districts so we can go far and possibly win. I think as a team we have good chance of winning if we just play our game and forget about everything else.”

The boys next travel to Satellite High School on Wednesday.
