The boys’ bowling team beat Eau Gallie 5-2, and the girls’ team lost 7-0 to the undefeated Eau Gallie women’s bowling team Monday.
“This was a great win for the boys. They rolled their highest traditional game and some stupendous baker games,” Coach Kirk Murphy said. ” The outcome was in question until the last frame of the last Baker game. Toothy [junior Brandon Toothaker] had a strike and then a spare, and we won that game 17 to 167.”
Seventh-grader Chris M. bowled a 188 in the game. Junior Anthony Watwood bowled a 183, and senior logan Molitteire bowled a 178.

“The team did great, the lowest score was 160,” Chris M. said.
According to Murphy, the bowling teams are performing better as of late.
“The girls had a tough match against an undefeated opponent and did not let it get them down,” Murphy said. “As the season is winding down the boys team is really pulling together and bowling better all the time.”
