Senior Adam Kline set a boys varsity basketball record with 17 rebounds Monday against Brevard Christian to lead the team past the War Eagles 55-41. Senior Adam Kline leads the team in scoring, averaging just over 11 points a game.
“Overall, we played really well Monday night. Adam stepped up and led the team in all aspects,” Assistant Coach Robert Salazar said. ” Kline really deserved this record as he has been working hard for a long time, and we are proud of him.”
On Wednesday, the team lost its first district game to Satellite High School. A late surge by the ’Cats was not enough as they fell to the Scorpions 60-44.
