The men’s and women’s bowling teams both lost their season-opening bowling matches 5-2 against Space Coast Junior/Senior High on Aug. 29 at Harbor Lanes.
“The boys were competitive,” Coach Kirk Murphy said. “The girls? Well, they had fun.”
According to Murphy, Seniors Brandon Toothaker and Logan Meletteire, and seventh-grader Chris M. had strong performances for the men’s team.
Junior Timmy Pham expressed dismay.
“It felt it was a disappointing loss because I knew our team was better than that,” he said.
