Baccalaureate Service to be held Sunday

On May 17 at 7 p.m. at the Suntree United Methodist Church, the Baccalaureate service for the class of 2015 took place. A baccalaureate service is a one-hour religious service honoring the West Shore graduating Class of 2015.

In the worship center, seniors gathered at 6:30p.m in the dining room for procession.  The seniors wore their gowns, speakers including Dr. Spero Tshontikidis and Mark Schledorn presented and slide show presentation featuring seventh grade and senior pictures was shown. A reception with cake followed the service.

“I think it’s a great intimate setting for the seniors, their families and faculty to reminisce in memories and give advice to these aspiring men and women as they go off to college,” Assistant Principal Robert Farrell said.

Graduation for the Class of 2015 will be held on May 27th at the King Center. The UStream link will  “Go Live” on May 27th at 6:45 p.m. with West Shore’s graduation commencing at 7 pm.
