The Spanish Honor Society induction ceremony has been scheduled for March 22 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the media center.
“We’ve finally been able to set the date for our induction ceremony,” club secretary Natalia Marmol said. “I am so glad, since it’s been on hold for a while.”
All officers have a meeting Monday to plan for the induction ceremony and the entire honor society will be preparing for it at a meeting on Friday.
“I want to make sure there is a solid plan with the officers before we get the whole club involved,” sponsor Awilda Marti said.
Club President Christy Hernandez said it’s a big relief that they finally are planning this ceremony and everything is going well.
“Having a set date, takes a ton of weight off my shoulders,” Hernandez said. “Now, I’m just hoping the ceremony goes as planned.”
