The new Florida law banning cellular devices in kindergarten through 8th grade has made its way to Brevard Public Schools. The Brevard County policy limits all students, including high schoolers, to use their phones during the school day from the 8:30 bell to the 3:30 bell.
There will be no tolerance for cell phones during school hours. This new policy leaves West Shore students with differing opinions.
Regardless of students’ opinions, this policy is in place and needs to be followed.
