Moore wins lacrosse MVP award

The boys’ lacrosse team gathered at Paradise Beach on Saturday to celebrate the end of its season.  Participants enjoyed food and games before taking part in an awards ceremony.  The awards included varsity letters, pins, plaques, Most Valuable Player and various others.

Junior Daniel Breininger said he enjoyed playing games with his team.

“I played volleyball like the whole time,” Breininger said. “Almost the whole team was there, and we basically just hung out and ate food.  It was great.”

Junior Nick Moore was named Most Valuable Player.

“I was surprised and very honored that coach picked me for MVP,” Moore said. “I worked really hard to improve this season skill-wise, but I know a lot of other guys who are just as good.”

The banquet ended with final speeches from the coaches and graduating seniors.
