Portraying Adam Pontipee in “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers,” senior Justin Mehlich acts as a father-figure to his six younger brothers, Benjamin, Caleb, Daniel, Ephraim, Frank, and Gideon. “I’ve only been in one other West Shore play and I knew before I left I had to do one last one. I was really surprised and honored about how they treated the seniors this weekend and they did a formal senior sendoff and had speeches for all thirty-five seniors. It was nonstop crying for forty-minutes, and it was sad and had a depressing tone, but it united the cast and made the last show that much better,” senior Jennifer Garrido said. This was the seniors last West Shore production with three sold-out performances.
