Former Principal Rick Fleming, who retired last year after being principal of the school for 17 years, waves to the crowd. “This event is awesome, but they should save it for years when we get blue ribbons,” junior Kellyn Hoffmann said. “It would make the event even more special.”
Current and incoming students attended the school-wide Spring Fling to celebrate the school’s fourth National Blue Ribbon Award on March 13. Club members organized booths with games, food and prizes, and other activities included an air guitar contest, petting zoo and dunk tank. Over 800 students and 100 parent volunteers attended the event, organized by the Student Government Association and the Parent Teacher Association.
