Relay for Life sign-ups continue

Calling all Wildcats who want to help make a difference in cancer patients’ lives. The school’s Relay for Life team needs students to sign-up for this year’s Relay for Life event scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.

The event is open to all students who want to get their community service hours through the Relay for Life event at school. Students must sign-up and have a T-shirt before Friday in order to participate.

“Students may still sign up for Relay for Life. The link to join is on the Edline page. If they do not see it when they log on, they should click ‘more news’ and scroll down,” team leader Donna McKeever said.

Students planning to stay overnight can still sign up for the event and purchase a T-shirt in the cafeteria during both lunch periods throughout this week.

“We really want all students staying the entire night to purchase a T-shirt,” McKeever said. “It just makes it easier for the chaperones to identify the West Shore students. We will be having a mandatory meeting the day before Relay for all students who are participating. [Principal Rick] Fleming will be addressing all of the students at that time.”
