Seventh graders locate their next target during "Wildcats on the Prowl" on Aug. 15.
Seventh graders participated in “Wildcats on the Prowl” on Aug. 15, familiarizing themselves with the campus while obtaining signatures from administrators, National Honor Society students and staff.
“My favorite moment was pushing my teammate, who’s bigger than everybody, through the line so we could get there first,” seventh grader Chase Saunders said. “We should have won; we had effort.”
One of the requirements for completing the scavenger hunt was getting a signature from School Resource Officer Valerie Butler.
“My favorite stop on the scavenger hunt was probably Officer Butler’s office because it was chaos getting through there,” Saunders said. “We were looking for her for like 10 minutes. I think this was a good way to start off. We got to know the building and around the place.”
A WCTZ broadcast package covering the event is coming soon and will be attached to this story.
