After a successful fund-raiser at Chipotle, raising a total of $535 the junior class club has created another event to raise money for Prom. They will be hosting a “Minute to Win it” fund-raiser in the West Shore gym Feb. 21 at 6:30 p.m. Teams of two people can sign up the week of the event for ten dollars, and pick a total of five games to participate in.

“The juniors last year did it and it was successful so I figured we would give it a try,” junior class president Marissa Patel said. “I’ve watched the show a few times when it came on TV, so it looks fun.”

On the same night, the junior class will also be hosting a fund-raiser at Jason’s Deli from 5 to 10 p.m. Fifteen percent of the proceeds will go to the junior class club upon putting your receipt in the GroupRaise.com donation box at the restaurant.

“I think it’s a good idea that its on the same night because once you go to the event, you could go to Jason’s Deli after and eat dinner,” junior Erin Sheridan said. “You can support the junior class in both ways.”
