Erratic class-change bells cause consternation

Apparently the school’s bell system had a rough summer. When students returned to school on Aug. 14, the lightning-damaged computerized system malfunctioned and the bells either rang at the wrong times or didn’t ring at all. After district workers tried unsuccessfully to address the problem during the course of the past two weeks, Principal Rick Fleming contacted the Canadian manufacturer to address the problem. Fleming expects a normal bell-ringing schedule to resume within the week.
