Brevard Public Schools’ annual “Food 4 Thought” drive ended Friday. Students, staff and community members were encouraged to donate non-perishable food items to benefit local food pantries that assist Brevard families in need.
At West Shore, the first-period class that collected the most items will win a prize. Delilah Narvaez’ class has won two years in a row.
National Junior Honor Society members will collect the donated items Monday.
Monetary donations are also being accepted. Checks or money orders should be payable to Second Harvest Food Bank.
