West Shore’s computer graphics students will display their work at the Artworks Eau Gallie Fine Arts Festival scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. Held annually on the weekend before Thanksgiving, event centers around the Highland Avenue area of Eau Gallie.
Sophomore Mitch Braun said he’s looking forward to the event.
“I think its a good way for us to be creative and fun and a good way to get our artwork seen,” he said. “It’s cool to see your art being looked at by so many people.”
The exhibition can also give young artists a new perspective.
“I think it helps show them how people respond to their art,” computer graphics teacher Jim Finch said. “They could think they’re all that and then someone could not like it and this a new experience to them.”
