“Opulence” is in. No, not as a fashion trend. Rather, this year’s edition of the school literature magazine, “Alter Ego,” has arrived and is available for purchase.
“I think it’s one of the best lit mags we’ve ever made,” Editor in Chief Brittany Cho said. “There [are] over fifty students featured in the magazine. It’s one of the biggest and best representations of West Shore talent.”
Senior Cindy Thuang helped develop the magazine’s “Opulence” motif.
“Our theme was a look at consumerism and is sort of an elaboration on last year’s theme,” she said. “It was a comparison of excess and minimalism. The design elements are really cool.”
Those wishing to purchase a copy of “Alter Ego” should bring cash or a check for $12 made out to West Shore to Room 3-104 before school, after school or during lunch.
