Holy Trinity shuts out boys’ tennis

The boys’ tennis team lost to Holy Trinity 0-7, including five singles and two doubles matches at the Fee Avenue tennis courts Monday.

“Holy Trinity is always a really good team,” sophomore Nathan Foo said. “They can recruit people to come play, so it’s almost unfair.”

Sophomore Hunter Scott was one of the only boys to win a game in singles.

“I knew my match was going to be really hard based off of previous years, so my goal was to at least get one game and maybe more,” he said.

In doubles, the boys managed to get more games than in singles.

“It is usually easier to win more games in doubles because the better players don’t practice doubles as much as they do singles,” Foo said.
