On Friday night the girls’ lacrosse team took down Viera 15-3. Players were upset by a difficult loss to Merritt Island and came back hard.

“We never want to feel that feeling again so we came back with vengence and that was our revenge,” junior Sierra Purden said.

By making improvements to their game the team found its success.

“We worked on being patient with the ball because shooting every time we got the ball in the last game did not work,” junior Kayley Lew said. “It helped us control the ball really well.”

The added patience helped the team run more plays according to Purden.

“We did really good on offense because we changed how we ran it,” senior Jackie Sherry said.

The team will face Melbourne High on Wednesday for their senior night.
