Led by senior Victoria D’Esposito, the girls’ bowling team defeated Viera High School 6-1 Tuesday to advance it record 3-3.
“Viera was pretty much at the same level as us skill-wise,” senior Alex Hamaker said. “It made the match fair and enjoyable.”
The boys’ team lost to Viera 7-0 and dropping its record to 5-1.
“All of the boys are really good bowlers,” Coach Kirk Murphy said. “But the other teams have bowlers who are even better.”
The next match will take place Thursday at 4 p.m. at Shore Lanes.
