Eight different players scored last night when the boys soccer team beat Palm Bay 8-0, bringing their record to an unblemished 3-0. Senior Robert Madden, juniors Sam Leighton and Gavin Rushnell, sophomores Abe Murphy and Victor Hernandez, and freshmen Chase Hester, Cameron Yeutter, and Ian Leighton all tallied a goal for the Wildcats.

“I think [the game] was good,” Yeutter said. “A lot of players that usually sit the bench got to go in, like me. Those games that aren’t very challenging, it’s good for the team to kind of bond together and get more players on the field so you can reserve the good players for games like today.”

Yeutter scored of a penalty kick at the beginning of the second half.

“It was a corner kick,” Yeutter said. “I crossed it and the keeper missed the ball and one of their players just caught the ball so then we got a penalty kick and then I just shot the ball in the goal.”
