Sophomore class is holding a fund-raiser, selling popcorn and snow cones every Friday through the end of the school year. The profits will all go towards funding next year’s Prom. Each item will be sold for $1  under the pavilion from 3:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

“Everyone in our grade really likes food a lot,” Sophomore Class President Gianni Valenti said. “We were able to get the snow cone machines from Jonae Lawrence’s mom because she owns a catering business.”

Gianni said last Friday’s sale brought in more than $90.

Snow cones are available in two flavors: Berry Blue Typhoon and Fruit Juicy Red.

“Man I love me some snow cones,” senior Malik Richardson said. “It’s like water, but it’s flavor and has little calories. My only wish is that they had watermelon flavor.”
