Senior Class plans Yacht Club breakfast

The Senior Class is getting ready for the breakfast on Feb. 28, which will be held at the Eau Gallie Yacht Club.

“All the senior homeroom teachers go too and give a little speech,” class sponsor Melissa Henderson said. “I’ll admit it’s going to be sad, but it’s going be a lot of fun too, I think.”

While seniors are attending the breakfast, underclassmen will remain at school to take the FCAT Writes statewide assessment.

“This is a great opportunity for the class of 2012 to get together,” Class President Adrian Arias said. “We get to enjoy a nice breakfast while discussing our future plans and reminiscing on our past at West Shore.”

Tickets will be sold for $14 the week before.

“I think it’s when the reality of graduation is going to really set in,” Historian Lyndsay Yandell said. “I am most likely going to cry, especially when people make toasts and speeches.”
