Purrfections to perform at regional semifinal

The varsity boys’ soccer team will defend its state championship title in a regional semifinal home game against Orlando Bishop Moore on Saturday at 7 p.m., and the Purrfections dance team will be there to cheer them on. The dancers will be performing at halftime of the game.

Junior Macie Goldfarb said her team has been practicing non-stop.

“We have been performing at many different events which should help us give it our all for the game,” she said. “Many spectators are going to be there and this is a pretty big deal, so it will be fun to cheer the boys on.”

Freshman Abi Johnson said she’s confident the boys will prevail.

“I’m not nervous at all for the boys. I’m sure it will be a great game,” she said. “I always get a little nervous before performances, but we will do great.”
