Student Government Association will soon be deciding on new ideas for the 2011 Homecoming dance. SGA sponsor Heidi Heath has suggested having a photo booth.

“Students pay a couple bucks to get a photo with their friends inside the booth,” Heath said. “Students really don’t utilize the formal photos anymore, but have crazy Homecoming pictures with different groups of friends seems like a blast to me.”

Another possibility would be having the DJ provide karaoke.

“We have so many students that can really sing,” Heath said. “I’d love to give them the opportunity to belt their favorite radio song out.”

This suggestion hasn’t been made to SGA yet, but it’s still a possibility.

“I think it could make Homecoming more entertaining by taking away from the dancing,” sophomore Sarah Day said.
