For the second year in a row, West Shore’s team of Crowley, Hatt, Elsawaf and Reeder finished fourth in a regional ethics competition sponsored by the Florida Institute of Technology’s School of Business. Lake Brantley High placed first in the competition.
FIT provided a case for teams to analyze regarding the case’s ethical implications. Teams prepared and presented a 25-minute explanation of their view of the case, along with the ethical issues that they identified and their recommendation for solving and dealing with the issue. After presenting the case, each team answered questions asked by a panel of four to five judges comprised of business leaders in the community.
