The Middle school dance was a big success with a new D.J. Assistant Principal Jim Melia found after student expressed concern that there wasn’t going to be a D.J.
Eighth-grader Megan W. said that while she didn’t like the Hawaiian theme and she wished Student Government had gone with a Paris theme instead, she still had a good time.
“All in all it was really fun,” she said. “I hope Homecoming next year will be this great.”
Review for the music were mixed.
“The D.J. was pretty bad,” eighth-grader Connor N. said. “He played some old songs, but for the most part it was pretty good.”
Conner also lamented the number of chaperones.
“Parents were like everywhere,” he said. “There were too many of them. I wish it would change but it’s not going to. I’ll get over it.”
