After the elite eight teams faced off in the NCAA College Basketball Tournament, we now know the NCAA final four — South Carolina, North Carolina, Gonzaga and Oregon.
All four of the teams have unique playing styles and many West Shore students have different ideas on who will win the tournament.
Sophomore Chase Julson said he’s sure North Carolina will prevail.
“They made the finals last year and have won the whole tournament five times,” Julson said. “There’s no way the other teams can face a force like them now that Villanova is gone.”
Junior Andrew Leonard disagrees.
“Oregon will win it,” Leonard said. “Even though they are a No. 3 seed, they have a level of competitiveness that none of the other teams have.”
South Carolina and Gonzaga will face each other at 6:09 p.m. Saturday and Oregon and North Carolina will play at 8:49 p.m. to decide who will play in the final.
