Key Club plans to make holiday cards

Key Club members plan to meet early next week to create holiday cards for sick children at Holmes Regional Medical Center.

“I think it will be a time compromise, especially right before exams,” sophomore Scarlett Callahan said. “But it’s going to a really good cause, and the kids deserve it.”

Senior Nick De La Hoz doesn’t think time will be an issue.

“The meeting will be held before exams start, so students won’t have to worry too much about studying,” he said.

He believes making cards for the children will boost their spirits during the holiday season.

“I think it will show them that a group of community people care about them and that we have sympathy for what they’re going through.”
