Eating foods from various cultures, playing different games and listening to live performances are just some of the things that can be experienced at Spanish Honor Society’s annual International Fiesta. The event is set to take place Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. under the pavilion.

Attendees must purchase tickets to purchase food, drinks and partake in different activities arranged by members of the club and other volunteers.

Club Secretary Rachel Alba said she expects the fiesta to be helpful in raising money for the club and to be a fun event for the entire school.

“I think the International Fiesta will be successful,” she said. “The club has grown over the past year so we will have much more food and volunteers. I am most excited for the food because last year it was delicious, and there is normally new food that I get to try.”

Freshman Isabella Nemes said she’s excited about the event as well.

“I’m looking forward to it,” she said. “I’ve never really been to anything like it before, so it’s a new experience which is always fun.”

Performances in singing, dancing, and other activities are open to any volunteers interested.
