High-schoolers prepare for AP exams

Advanced Placement testing begins this week for high-school students.

Junior Lucia Carcieri is preparing for AP Language, AP Government and Economics and AP Environmental Science.

“For APES, my good friend Alexa gave me her review book from last year that helped her earn a 5 so I’m hoping the luck will pass down to me.  Also, [instructor Bob] Sarver has provided us with great review material on his website for AP Gov,” Carcieri said.

Junior Liam Wiles also has been preparing for exams. He said he has been doing a  lot of practice in class and that the parts he struggles with he will look over on the weekend.

In addition, AP Language teachers Jeanie Griffin and Mary Mason held a well-attended study session Saturday morning in the school cafeteria.
