Orchestra will be performing its annual dessert concert at 6 p.m. Saturday in the auditorium. All students and parents are invited to attend.

“I am actually performing with a trio of students,” senior Jacob Booe said. “Individual practices are on Wednesday, each session lasts roughly an hour.”

Booe added that he has been an orchestra student since the seventh grade, and every year the best part of the class is being able to show their work in front of a live audience.

Orchestra students are able to practice as a group in class every day, giving them five class periods to rehearse each week.

According to orchestra teacher Maureen Fallon, orchestra is planning to perform two other concerts this year: a spring concert and a winter concert.
