Girls’ soccer shuts out Cocoa

The West Shore Girls’ Varsity Soccer team toppled Cocoa High 7-0 Thursday night.

“We played well considering we were missing four players. I believe we could of mercy ruled the team if we had all of our players, which is beating a team 8-0,” sophomore Anna Wilder said. “This game was a great win for us because it helped boost our confidence up”.

Junior Molly Redito disagreed with Wilder’s assessment.

“Personally, I don’t think we played that good,” she said. “Usually we slaughter them, but this year we seemed off. My ankle was hurting half way through the game which didn’t help.”
