The cheerleading team is prepares for tryouts coming up next week. Most of the team is trying out again along with several newcomers.
“It’s nice to see a bunch of new faces show up at our optional practices where they can come and get the feel at what our program is like,” Coach Carrie Wadzinski said.
Tryouts consist of learning a dance, cheer and a sideline chant and then performing in front of Wadzinski and two other judges.
“I’m always about messing up when we perform it in front of them because knowing me, that is a big possibility,” sophomore Shaun Wilson said.
Tryouts will be held in the gym on April 18, 20, 23, and 27 from 3:45 p.m. to 6 p.m.
