Boys’ lacrosse ends dry spell

Juniors Bryce Rothery, Adam Zoiss, and sophomore Jacob Jodin all scored as the boys’ lacrosse trounced Eau Gallie 10-2 Tuesday night in its first victory of the season.

“We played as a team and kept the energy high throughout the game,” Rothery said. “We were all hyping each other up and playing together. The offense was moving the ball around good and taking shots and defense locked down and didn’t allow any easy shots.”

Junior Zack Bursk pointed to the home crowd as a factor in the outcome.

“The support from the sidelines was crazy, the energy was so high,” he said. “That support really helped. People should start coming to our games. Maybe we’ll win more.”
