Eighth-grader Chris M. stared down a much older Melbourne High School team and didn’t blink to lead the Wildcats past the Bulldogs 5-2 Thursday night at Harbor City Lanes.
“Chris did really well,” Coach Kirk Murphy said. “He pulled like a 200.”
Despite a strong effort from senior Victoria D’Esposito, the girls’ team fell to Melbourne.
“The other team had a lot of great players,” senior Brooke Robertson said. “We practice at Palm Bay, but at the Melbourne bowling alley the balls and lanes were really different.”
