The boys’ bowling team beat Eau Gallie High School on Sept. 20 at Harbour Lanes, but the girls’ team lost.
“A victory is always a good thing. My only disappointment is that we can never seem to get an all out good showing. We depend on one or two people doing well,” Coach Kirk Murphy said. “If I could get them to bowl as well as we did in practice, we would be a force to reckon with.”
The Eau Gallie girls were the district winners last year and, according to Murphy, would beat most men’s teams.
“I honestly don’t see any change,” seventh-grader Chris M. said. “Since we have practiced more lately, we have been playing better.”
